FTR ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

Information We Collect

FTR does not require user accounts or registration. We collect limited information:

  • Phone numbers for waitlist notifications (website only)
  • Apple Music listening data (when you use our Replay feature in the mobile app)
  • Album preferences and liner notes you generate (stored locally on your device)

We do not collect or store personally identifiable information (PII) or user account data. We do not track users by ID or identity.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Send you notifications about app availability
  • Provide personalized music recommendations
  • Improve our services and user experience
  • Generate and store liner notes you create

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

Our app integrates with the following third-party services:

  • Apple Music: Integrated through MusicKit. Your use of Apple Music is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • Superwall: Used for managing premium subscriptions. Subscription data is handled by Apple's App Store and Superwall in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
  • Mixpanel: Used for anonymous analytics to understand app usage and improve our services. We do not track users by ID or identity. Analytics events are collected anonymously without personal identifiers.

We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services. All third-party services are used in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Analytics and Tracking

We use Mixpanel for anonymous analytics to understand how our app is used and to improve our services. Our analytics:

  • Do not track users by ID or identity
  • Do not collect personally identifiable information
  • Collect anonymous usage events (e.g., screen views, button taps)
  • Are used solely to improve app functionality and user experience

Since we do not collect personal information or track users by identity, there is no user account data to access, update, or delete. All data stored by the app (such as liner notes) is stored locally on your device.

Your Rights

Since FTR does not require user accounts and does not collect personally identifiable information:

  • All app data (liner notes, preferences) is stored locally on your device
  • You can delete the app at any time to remove all local data
  • You can opt out of analytics by disabling analytics in your device settings
  • For website waitlist, you can request removal of your phone number by contacting us
